2012 BOYS 5 & 6  PRACTICES

Practices will all take place at Action Sports, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, possibly Wednesdays.  Time will be announced.

 

As a club team we are at a disadvantage when it comes to a pre-season conditioning program.  So the responsibility will lie with each player to get himself ready for the start of the season

Here's some things you should be doing.

 

 3 times a week: 

- Run 

- Do sprints

- Push-ups

- Sit-ups

- Hand squeezes with each hand--use either a tennis ball or a hand-gripper device.

 

You can do all of these with out any specialized equipment and should be able to accomplish this routine in less than 1 hour.  You might have to bundle up due to the weather, but it will pay dividends once the season starts.

 

Also, take advantage of any opportunity you have to get outside to improve your stick work--cradling, groundballs, catch, wall work, etc.
